Overview

Feeling boxed in by life? These four Bible studies challenge you and your group to break out of the world's mold by learning to be genuine with God and one another. These studies encourage you to be available and accountable to each other so you can impact the world around you. Note: This course was developed with Community Christian Church and New Thing Network.

Session One

Living Authentically
Living as an authentic Christian means living truthfully, striving toward Christlikeness, and seeking community.
Colossians 3:5–17

Many times, we think being authentic about who we are would expose us as a fraud. This study addresses these concerns and explains how to live a truly authentic life.

Session Two

Living Accountably
Living accountably means that we need to be responsible to one another and use our relationships to grow.
Ecclesiastes 4:9–12; Proverbs 27:17

Without help from someone stronger than ourselves, our weakness might keep us down. This study demonstrates that we all need each other's help through our weaknesses.

Session Three

Living Availably
To be available to others, we must make some hard choices about our time.
Luke 10:38–42; Hebrews 13:1–2

Jesus models to us what it means to live availably—to live for others. This study examines how we can learn to open our lives to others.

Session Four

Living Abundantly
To live the abundant Christian life, we must reach out to the world.
John 15:1–17

We need to be involved with other Christians, as well as reach out to those who don't yet know Christ.
